David was born on July 30, 1941 in Santa Monica, CA and passed away on February 28, 2015. He was the eldest son of Reverend William and Jennie Kobayashi. During WWII he was interned in the Poston Concentration Camp for Japanese Americans. He was self employed in the drapery business. He is survived by his wife Rose Kobayashi, children Kim (Gina), Denise (Phillip) Steele, Dean (Donna) and Scott (Angelica); grandchildren Camille (Juan), Brian, Jade, Tori, Mira and Erin; Great grandchildren Rebecca, Adam and Elijah; Siblings Thomas, Eunice, Debbie and Dwight. A visitation will be held on Sunday March 8 from noon to 4:00 pm and a Chapel Service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 1:00 PM. David was a person who would help anyone he could and even in death he helped those in need by being a donor.
