On October 1, 2010, Bonnie J. Ryerson, also known as “Beautiful Bonnie”, was called to her Heavenly place by the Lord, Bonnie was a 60 year resident of Rolling Hills and Torrance. Born in Nebraska in 1927, Bonnie moved to Gardena at an early age, where she graduated from Gardena High School. She married her beloved husband of 61 years, Walter B. Heavily involved in PTA, Rolling Hills Little League and Pslos Verdes First Baptist Church, Bonnie made a career raising her four boys. Always in attendance at their baseball games, she could always be heard yelling “safe by a mile”. Bonnie and Walter spent alot of their free time as members of the Los Angeles Chapter of US Submarine Veterans of WII and traveling in their motorhome. After Walter’s passing in 2007, Bonnie continued to be a member of The Wives Of US Submarine Veterans of WWII, Redondo Beach Parkinson”s Group, Skyline Mobile Park Bingo and The Red Hat Society. Bonnie also found time rooting for “her teams”, The LA Dodgers and LA Lakers. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter (2007) and her son Jerry (2001).
