Tony Saucedo, of Torrance Ca., was 76 when he died peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, from complications of a stroke. He lived most of his life in the South Bay (Lomita and Harbor City). Tony was a dedicated Jehovah’s Witness with many dear friends throughout the South Bay and loved by many of his brothers and sisters in his family of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Tony had a big personality with a generous heart. He will always be remembered as the life of the party and for being an excellent cook. He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Saucedo, his brother Frank and Senor (Tony). He is survived by his mother Florence Encinas, brother James Encinas, sisters Virginia Garnica, Florence Muse, Antonia Grajeda and Irene Encinas and by his children Agapito (Alvina) Saucedo, Steve Saucedo, Vivian (Don) Smittcamp, Dolores Roddis, and Micah Saucedo. Tony had 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Tony was also a proud retired member of the International Operator Engineers Union local 12. Memorial services will be held Sat. April 17th 2010 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 2450 255th St. Lomita ca.90717 at 3 pm. The family extends their appreciation to the staff of San Pedro Little Company of Mary Paliative care unit for the compassionate and respectful care he received.
